Ah yes, good old impatience and procrastination—so inexorably linked together. Probably because we don’t want to get around to it unless we know it won’t require time and patience. :)

Thanks for mentioning Impostor Syndrome. When I first heard of it I recognized it right away as something that many friends and I had wrestled with.

    Hi Catherine,

Thank you for the link to my post. As most successful individuals will admit, if you follow your passion, success will follow.

Unfortunately, most people are so busy they don’t take time to listen to that inner voice to discover their true passion.

You’re going to keep me busy, reading the other links you have provided.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Cath!,

RMAOL! Wow! This was actually comic relief for me reading this post! I swear I try to tell people about those exact things all the time and they fail to realize why they can’t accomplish anything at all!

The one that stands out the most for me is the “passion” because no matter how long you work at something, it will never begin feeling like a job to you unless the passion is missing. We need passion for all the days we’re low on motivational fuel. Great post!

    Catherine,

Thanks for the link. It is amazing what is gambling to some and investing to others.

Great Post. I try to tell people about these problems every day. Rather than realizing that it took them time to develop their financial problems and that it will take time to get out, they keep going for a quick fix and then wonder why it doesn’t work. Thanks, I have added your blog to my blogroll

As Zig Ziglar says, ” Greatest time saving device in the world is procrastination.”

Whenver I pray at church I always ask for forgiveness for being such a procrastinator.

Thansk for checking out my blog!

Hi Mrs M - Your post on Imposter Syndrome was v interesting and the inspiration for this thread.

Barbara your post was v useful as many people struggle to discover where their passions lie.

Dwayne - too true - as you said, too many people expect overnight success, when most of the fun is the journey, not the destination.

RacerX - that guy cracked me up. I hope the joke taught him to do a bit of research before investing blindly.

Thanks Pete - I’m glad you liked it - there’s just too many impatient people out there.

Hi Wealthy 1. I love Zig Ziglar too - his books are v motivational.

I used to be plagued with impatience thankfully I got that into check much before I started my business at times I take on too many responsibilities and of course I end up paying for it when I do. However, I have become better at that. I realize I cannot do everything even though, at times, I wish I could.

Haha! Great post. I was wondering what it was going to be about… I knew it couldn’t have been real disorders, but the title will attract people with these types of disorders.

Hi Opal - I know - You have so much energy - I sometimes feel exhausted just reading about some of the things you’ve been doing.

Dan - Admittedly I was a little creative with some of the names. Glad you liked it.
