Revealed:  What the "Gurus" Don't Want You to Know

  • How they've never ran a successful business in their lives.  They've just been getting rich at your expense.  It's easy to take money from those who don't have the experience to spot their false earnings statements, and don't realise that their phoney testimonials were written by their equally scummy friends.
  • Plus, how to get revenge on them.  Protect yourself from the lies that these hucksters will spin you.  And, learn how to do something they can't do - build a successful Internet business without scamming people.

I know it's shocking.  They wouldn't be allowed to get away with it in the real world, but they do on the Internet.  And you want to build a successful business, and make money, so how do you discover who the genuine people are, and stop the cheats from scamming you?

And some some of the ones you should avoid like the plague.

The $9 idiots.  They'll say you can turn $9 into thousands in a few weeks.  It's all lies.  A few people have caught onto them now, so many of them tend to avoid the $9 claim.  But the lines are similar - you can make thousands in only a few weeks.  They often lurk on forums - waiting for newbies to pounce on.

Anyone who tells you - you can get rich quick.

"I can't promise you'll get rich fast, but you'll probably get rich faster than you deserve"

Felix Dennis - Media business multimillionaire.

(note - Felix means a few years - not weeks and he definitely knows what he's talking about.

Have you heard some of the following claims already? They're all big fat lies, and here's why:

They'll say, "It's so easy - an idiot could do it".  Think about the successful entrepreneurs you know.  Did any strike you as being idiots?  I thought not.

And they'll also tell you:  "I'm even going to give you a free website, especially designed for you"  Don't fall for this baloney.  A website designed especially for you would take at least a good few hours to make.  Do you really think they're going to build you one for free when you purchase their $47.00 product?

The only free website they'll give you is one that promotes their worthless product.  So you're actually paying them to sell their product for them.  It's despicable.

........And have you ever noticed all those testimonials with pictures?  They seem real, but the truth is, the people giving the testimonials are the ones who are selling the scammers product.

Another lie they'll tell you is:  "It isn't full of fluff like some ebooks"  This is the ultimate lie.  The scammers know there are some decent info products out there and they are the size of a real book.  But these snakes are too lazy to write a real book.  They simply copy lists of facts from other books they've read.  In reality the scammers are not capable of stringing a few sentences together.

.......Then they'll say:  "It won't cost you a penny to get started".  This is a huge lie. No business can be launched from fresh air.  While it's true that some businesses cost less to start than others, businesses require tools and resources to get started.  You'll also need to spend money on marketing, or you'll never get any customers.

.............And this is the one that really makes me sick to the stomach:  "Just look at my testimonials."  I bet you've seen similar claims before.  They'll show you pictures of their fancy cars, their private jets, and earnings statements.

What genuine, respectable business owner would put these items on their website?  Half the time, they are fakes.  And sometimes the statement the scammer is really showing is the one that proves how much he has made from selling his worthless ebook.

Don't worry - it's easy to spot these ones, as they are usually Clickbank statements.  Just take a look at the picture of a Clickbank statement below.  Then, if you've already bought one of these worthless products, I'll show you how to get your money back right now.

clickbank statement

Now, there's nothing wrong with Clickbank - they do sell some genuinely good information products.  But, they don't check the quality of products sold on their site and some bad ones do slip through.

Anyway - when a "guru" shows you nothing but a Clickbank statement as proof of their amazing earnings - you can bet your last penny that the only thing they made money from was selling their own information product on Clickbank.

*Tip - Here's what to do if you've already bought an information product and it proved to be worthless.  First - check your receipt.  Chances are it was sold to you through Clickbank.  If it was - you'll find the receipt in an email from:  receipt@clickbank.com.  Next click here to go to:  Clickbank Customer Services and request a refund.  If the information product was garbage, Clickbank will be only too happy to refund you immediately.

So now, you know how to spot the scammers.  And you've learned how to get your money back if you've already been ripped off.  But where does all this leave you?  You want the opportunity build a profitable business, but you don't want to waste money on the low grade products these dirtbags are pushing.

The good news is - you can still find genuine information to help you build a successful business.  You just need to know where to look.  The genuine folk will teach you how to do specific things, and they won't offer you a free website.

Here are a few of my favourite resources:

My favourite:  The Bad Ass Biker  :  The first thing you need to learn is how to market your business and attract lots of paying customers.  Start  by visiting the website of Clayton Makepeace - The Bad Ass Biker.  Clayton is a master copywriter and marketing sensation.  In fact, many people say he's the best copywriter in the world.  He's earned millions of dollars for the companies he's worked for.  And he can prove it.

Many of the resources on his website are free, including some excellent articles and monthly forums.  You can, and should check them out.  And don't forget to take a look at his brilliant monthly newsletter - the EasyWriters Marketing Club

Clayton also offers a heap of great products on his website, and I really recommend that you check out Double Your Profits in 12 Months or Less.

In Double Your Profits , Clayton shares secrets that he has personally used to help his clients rake in over $1 billion in sales.  In fact, he is so confident that his techniques will work for you that he offers a one year guarantee with the book.

And, Clayton is so confident - he has an amazing guarantee.  If Double Your Profits doesn't help you put at least $79,000 dollars in your pocket in the next year, he will give you a full refund.

Now - I have a lot of marketing experience - and Double Your Profits is probably the best resource on marketing that I've ever seen.  Whether you want to attract clients on the Internet, or offline this one resource will help you to achieve this.

I also like:  Rosalind Gardner - the Affiliate Superwoman.  Five years ago, she made $436,797 selling other people's stuff online.  After reading about Rosalind's success in an interview, hundreds of people wrote to her, asking her to share the secrets of her success.  So Rosalind launched Net Profits today - a wonderful website which is crammed with free articles, an active forum, and also a blog.  She also wrote the Super Affiliate handbook - and in my opinion, it is the best most valuable affiliate marketing resource on the Internet.

If you're new to the term affiliate marketing - it is a great way to start in business without having to spend money on stock, or shipping.  You can check out Rosalind's site here, and also sign up for her free newsletter.

Another place where I learned heaps about Internet Marketing is:  Derek Gehl's website - The Internet Marketing Centre.  I have been using this website for more years than I care to remember.  In fact, I subscribed to their free newsletter in the nineties and the newsletter alone helped me to sell my first travel product.

Do sign up for the free newsletter before you do anything else.  And if you're serious about Internet marketing, you may also want to check out the Internet Marketing Centre course.  It's a huge course, and you get masses of information on starting an internet business, but it really is worth the effort to study it, if you are serious about starting an Internet Business.

And don't miss the Secrets to Their Success Newsletter.  Every month, Derek interviews three successful internet business owners, who share exactly what they have done to make their business successful.  I love the information I get from Secrets to Their Success, and every month, I pick up tips and ideas to improve my own websites.
