What do you do, when you can’t do all the work yourself?
June 4, 2006
Well, I’ve just returned from a great vacation in Walt Disney World. Anyway, my Internet access wouldn’t work over there, and I couldn’t update my blog. What I should have done was get someone else to do it for me.
There comes a point in everyone’s business where you can’t do it all yourself anymore. You may be going on vacation and need someone to cover for you, or your business may have grown to the point where you can’t cope with the workload by yourself. So what can you do about it?
You could employ someone, but maybe you don’t want to commit yourself to paying a regular wage just yet, or perhaps you just want someone to do the occassional project for you.
The ideal solution is to outsource some of this work to a freelancer. www.elance.com is one of the best resources I have found for freelancing some of the tasks involved in running your Internet business. You will find people on the site with various skills from design to writing. Plus, the great thing is, you can check out their profiles, as they have a star rating and review system, similar to that on amazon.
So don’t struggle on your own - you can get help from a freelancer, and it doesn’t need to cost you the earth.
