Branson Tries Cannabis and Plane Sex to Boost Business

Richard Branson has confessed toÂ getting high on cannabis with his son, two years ago, and also joining the mile high club with a married woman.Â

So, why is Richard Branson confessing all now? Well, his son - Sam, is trying to boost his modelling career, and his famous dad’s confessions are sure to work in his favour. Branson has done remarkably well to keep his family away from the public eye, but he knows how to pull stunts to keep his own business in the media, and you can be sure that his revelations will keep the spotlight firmly on his son.

I suspect that Sir Richard has taken advice from his pal, Kate Moss, before leaking the story. A few months ago, Kate got into trouble with the law, for her drug habits, but the news boosted her modelling career.

Whilst Branson has no regrets about the cannabis smoking, and doesn’t believe that trying it causes any harm, he admits that hard work, and getting stoned don’t go well together. So don’t rush out to buy a stash in the hopes of improving your business.

As for the plane sex, Richard Branson has always remained tight lipped when asked whether he is a member of the exclusive mile high club. However, in his recent confession, he admitted joining at the age of 19, when he had sex with a married woman, in the loo on one of Freddie Laker’s planes.

I’ve never considered doing drugs to raise our profile. Not sure it would help us that much. Especially if you can’t mix drugs and hard work.

I’ll give anything a try. After all, not working sounds good too - especially if boosts business.

Hi Ian - I think if I tried some of the outrageous strategies Branson uses, I’d end up in prison, or hospital.

I first heard this story on a Virgin train last night. The Virgin staff thought it was brilliant. I’m sure most of them would applaud Sir Richard no matter what he did. Some of them talk about him as tho he were God.

Must admit that anyone that can get staff to talk about them like that - and you would think he would be quite distant from them - is doing a great job.

If you can get your staff onside and motivated, that’s one hell of a challenge to have won.

Right, you’ve talked me into it - where can I get drugs then?

Who’d have ever thought blogs can persuade people to take drugs? Not me, but I’m converted!

P.S. You need to try and partake (if you don’t already) in the uk business forum. Imaginatively URL’d as ukbusinessforums.co.uk, it’s been quite a laugh as well as enlightening.

And seems purely to be on small business topics. At least one really good blogger who covers great topics like you do, Alex Bellinger, posts a bit and gets some vluable feedback he uses to contribute to articles on his blog.

An excellent stomping ground methinks.

Hi Ian, I will check out the forum - and I’m glad you’re not going to resort to drugs. Maybe we should just kidnap Branson for half an hour and persuade him to share some of his secrets.
