He Can Make You Rich If………….

Hi, Thanks for visiting. You might want to click here to sign up to my RSS feed, so you don't miss anything important.
Paul McKenna says he can make you rich. But there’s a catch. He says it won’t work if you’re already happy with what you have. This makes sense because you’ve really got to want to succeed, if you want to improve at anything.
McKenna put in a lot of research before he wrote the book and interviewed several high achieving business people including Richard Branson, Anita Roddick and Philip Green.
And he’s managed to make himself rich too. He’s now a multi-millionaire but McKenna was a high school drop out. In fact, according to a recent interview, he performed so badly at school that his English teacher wrote in his report, “If he carries on like this, he’ll never amount to anything.†When, his first book was published he sent the teacher a copy with “F*** you†written inside the front cover.
I’ve ordered the book and I’m going to be trying it out this week. But, if you don’t want to wait for my review, you can get I Can Make You Rich here, and it also comes with a free CD.

Got something to say?

Interesting, I would wait for your reviews, as there are so many of these motivational materials. I recently thought I should spend more time trying to be successful, not reading about how to be successful. I have a tendency to spend time dreaming and counting chickens, instead of doing something, and I have to fix it to be really successful. So instead of reading books, I read Success Passcode, as blog is easy and quick to read!
By the way, your site is looking beautiful!
Asako, if you really want to read some inspirational material, then read Wayne Dyer, David Allen, and Brain Tracy. These guys know their stuff, and instead of teaching you how to get rich quick, they teach you how to think like a successful person to be able to achieve your goals, be it making money or personal satisfaction.
And yes, they have a role in making me way more successful than I was a year ago
These things dont really teach you how to become rich, there isnt some secret that once you know it you’ll become rich, You just have to work hard and smart at something and it will just happen.
I love reading and reviewing these books, so I’ll definitely let you know how I get on.
Mohsin - You are right - Brian Tracy and David Allen are inspirational - haven’t heard of Wayne Dyer. And it is great that they have helped make you more successful in your part-time online efforts.
But I don’t know if you were trying to say it was me who doesn’t know their stuff and is trying to teach people to get rich quick. Or if you meant Paul McKenna.
In fact, neither of us have ever claimed we can show someone how to get rich overnight.
But, Paul McKenna is hugely successful. And I know enough that I haven’t had to work for anyone else for many years.
And, if you don’t like what I have to say, you don’t have to read my blog.
I don’t think it’s a case of who’s right and who’s wrong. Or a case of which expert is better.
Haven’t read Paul McKenna, but I suspect it isn’t a book about how to become successful. I suspect it wil be about adpating your attitude bexased upon the traits and habits of those he has studied.
I think you need to read broadly to get a good grounding in a number of business and life skills.
And apply what you learn.
Once my book budget is back again, think I’ll get it. Looking forward to the review!
Hi Ian - sorry about that. I was just annoyed that the comments the other poster made seemed a bit personal, given what Asako had said.
The Paul McKenna book should be interesting, and it includes a hypnosis type CD - you can lend it when I’m done with it.
I think Mohsin did not understand my point. I just checked all Wayne Dyer, David Allen, and Brain Tracy, what kind of people they are and what they talk about. And definitely I am not needing these, while they will help others immensely.
As Digital Order said, I know I just have to work hard and be smart. It is just a matter of kicking myself, when my thoughts get distracted. I just need 2-3 minutes to re-set my mind hear and there, so I come to these blogs, see other people who are also trying to be successful.
In the end, we all know what will make use successful. It is just a matter of doing it, and finding the way to motivate yourself, and that is different for everyone.
I like Paul McKenna. I’ve listened to one of his audio books. However, I don’t recall the name.
I went through a stage of self help obsession. I’ve gotten over it. My conclusion is that it’s a great way to brain wash your mind in a healthy way. We deal with too many negative people in our daily lives, so it helps to balance it off.
For some people, they don’t need any of these products, but for a lot people, it’s an important wake up call. Once you get over yourself, you realize it’s all about action and experience.
Thanks for the post :).
I know this isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but using NLP and a decent coach.
Nnot one of those “Rah Rah” people who have you banging your head with newspaper to gee you up and go out and aggressively sell or whatever.
Someone who can help you re-programme your thinking patterns and create new synaptic routes through to the right way of seeing things.
It’s amazing how much of the bad stuff that happens to you is created by yourself. It’s a bit like “The Secret” where if you’re looking for something, you’ll start to see it more and gravitate towards it.
The same happens with bad stuff.
My colleague Steve tells me
“If you get up in the morning and stub your toe getting out of bed. Then you go to brush your teeth and there’s no toothpaste left, then it’s too easy to say ‘it’s going to be one of those days where nothing goes right’, and then for the rest of the day you spend your time looking for things that have gone wrong.”
I used a coach and just prior to us failing, I had kind of completed a set of training. Without it, there’s no way I could have dealt with what happened with any hope for the future.
Rather than expecting things to get worse, all of us (he had coached us all) were able to see beyond the immediate crap, and see the positive sides of what was happening.
That momentum has seen us through to a point now where we are all incredibly fired and positive.
So coaching - whether it’s someone like Paul McKenna or a (decent!) coach is well worth it.
If you think it’s tree-hugging nonsense, then you’re probably too close-minded for it to help you.
That is good Carl. I haven’t tried his stuff yet, but have read lots of good stuff.
Ian that is the word I was looking for - NLP - that is what he uses in the book apparently - same as Anthony Robbins.
I have used these types of techniques for years. I had really bad PTSD so a lot of brainwashing was needed!
